The 3rd annual Whiteaker Sustainability Bike Ride is Saturday September 4th. Sponsored by the Whiteaker Community Council Sustainability Committee in coordination with the Neighborhood Leaders Council Committee on Sustainability we will meet at the Owen Memorial Rose Garden restrooms next to the Greenway Bike Path at 11 a.m. and go until about 1 p.m. Parking is available at the Rose Garden at the north end of Jefferson St. The closest LTD bus route is the #51 which goes by 1st and Jefferson. There will be several stops along the way including Arcimoto as in the EW blog, http://blogs.eugeneweekly.com/content/captain-tightpants-and-electric-car-nathan-fillion-comes-arcimoto.
