Set aside Sunday, May 16th for a day of wildflowers, music, food, crafts, and microscopes! You don’t have to be a plant expert to love our upcoming Wildflower Festival. The festival is loaded with fun things to do for everyone in the family. As many as three to four hundred species of wildflowers will be on display, from Anemones to Vancouveria!
Parking is free on festival day. Suggested donation $5 per person, children under 12 free. Please leave your dogs at home!

The Fairmount Neighbors Sustainability Subcommittee is hosting a seed and plant exchange, from 6:30 to 7:00 PM on May 18th, just before the Fairmount Neighbors general meeting. The seed and plant exchange will be held either in the courtyard outside the Many Nations Longhouse (University of Oregon campus, just behind the law school and the Natural and Cultural History Museum) or just inside the Longhouse (depending on the weather). All are welcome. Bring your extra perennials, seeds, starts, indoor plants, and gardening supplies. No money is exchanged. There will be a plant swap on Sunday, April 11, at the corner of 25th and Emerald in the Amazon neighborhood (2489 Emerald St. in the driveway). All are welcome. Bring your extra perennials, seeds, starts, whatever – even indoor plants and garden tools! No money is exchanged. Come meet your neighbors and take home new plants.

There are always plenty of plants, so come take some home even if you have none to bring! Hours: 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.
