Lane Extension Service will close September 2nd unless funding can be raised by then. If everyone who voted for the measure sent the $10 they were willing to pay there would be $380,000. That is a great step in the direction of keeping Lane Extension open until more long term solutions can be developed. Here is a the list of organizations and addresses to donate to to help Lane Extension

A. Horticulture, encompassing Master Gardener and Farming best practices, checks to be sent to Lane County Master Gardener Association c/o OSU ext. 950 W. 13th Eugene, 97402 with checks written out to Lane County Master Gardener Association.

B. Lane County 4-H Leaders’ Association

Fund Raising for Lane Extension Service

This Sunday, June 13th from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. there will be a workshop on fund raising and consciousness raising for Lane Extension. It will be at the Whiteaker Community Center on the corner of Clark and North Jackson. For those who want to help there is a pre-class where the techniques will be taught so you can help in the main class.
