Geographically, the Amazon Neighborhood is one of the smallest neighborhoods in Eugene.  It extends east from the Amazon slough to Agate Street and north from 30th Avenue to 24th Avenue.  It is home to the Amazon Creek and wetlands and the historic Eugene Masonic Cemetery.

Despite its diminutive size, Amazon hosts a wealth of vibrant sustainability effort.  In addition to a number of amazing lawn-to-food conversion projects, Amazon is also home to a neighborhood bee co-op, a neighborhood orchard co-op, a sustainability study group, excellent examples of energy neutral homes, and Camas Ridge School which in recent years has made impressive gains creating both new garden space and gardeners for generations to come!

A summary of recent and upcoming Amazon sustainability events can be viewed here.

Amazon hosts a neighborhood website:  www.amazonneighbors.com.

We’d love to meet you and work with you to help make Amazon even more amazing than it already is.
